For this week\u2019s assignment, you will examine this interaction as it applies to the specific crime type that you have chosen to focus on in this course  (HUMAN TRAFFICING). To complete this assignment, locate 3 scholarly articles that identify:<\/p>\n

  • The risk factors for becoming involved in the crime type you selected,<\/li>\n
  • The rehabilitation needs that individuals who commit these crimes may possess, and<\/li>\n
  • The effectiveness of current justice system laws, policies, and\/or practices in reducing recidivism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As you review the articles you select, reflect on the following questions:<\/p>\n

    1.   To what extent do the risk factors align with the theory you chose in your week 1 assignment? For example, if you selected strain theory in your week 1 assignment, do the risk factors include poverty, unemployment, or limited education?<\/p>\n

    2.   To what extent do the rehabilitation needs align with the theory you chose in your week 1 assignment? For example, if you selected control theory in your week 1 assignment, do the rehabilitation needs include improving social bonds?<\/p>\n
