Using the Kaltura tool in the course to record only your voice or an online podcast tool, create a short podcast entitled, \u201cDevelopmentally Appropriate Practice in 21st Century Early Childhood Education.\u201d The main emphasis should be on your personal reflections on teaching and caring for today\u2019s diverse learners, especially with regard to diversity, equity, and inclusion.<\/p>\n

Be sure to include the following points in your podcast: <\/p>\n

  • Welcome participants to the podcast.<\/li>\n
  • Introduce yourself and state your credentials.<\/li>\n
  • Express your philosophy of ECE.<\/li>\n
  • Explain how your philosophy of ECE relates to DAP.<\/li>\n
  • Give three (3) examples of DAP in the ECE classroom or facility.<\/li>\n
  • End on a positive note about ECE in the 21st century about the importance of Developmentally Appropriate Practice in Early Childhood Education. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you choose to use an online tool other than Kaltura, consider the following list of free online podcast tools: Free online podcast players you can use in any browser found in the resources this week.<\/p>\n

    Length: 5 to 6-minute Podcast, plus separate reference sheet document<\/p>\n

    References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly resources.<\/p>\n

    The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards, and adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.<\/p>\n
