CASE INTRODUCTION: The community health nurse knocked softly before

\nfloor next to the changing table. The nurse noted two half empty 4-oz
\nformula bottles on the changing table, an empty box of baby wipes, and
\nthree soiled cloth diapers. Looking into Pearl\u2019s sleeping face, Isabel
\nsaid \u201cShe\u2019s finally fell asleep. I am so tire. Jerry, stop teasing
\nFreckles (the cat) and come over here and hold Pearl while I get
\nsomething to drink. Do you want something to drink?\u201d The nurse quickly
\nscanned the room and saw an unmade bed with a bassinet wedged against
