The topic I will use is \u201cThe understanding and development of logistics are crucial for the future of humanity\u201d.<\/p>\n

Why is it of interest to you?<\/p>\n

This topic is of interest to me because apart from my major being Business Administration- Transportation and Logistics, I have been dedicated to Supply Chain and Logistics for the past 9 years. I was introduced to combat logistics when I joined the US Marine Corps at the age of 17 and fell in love with this field. Currently, I am a Logistics Analyst and Coordinator for Yamaha Motors, and I find it very interesting how every day I learn something new. While working on new projects, I always picture our future as a society as logistics keeps developing and the supply chain gets stronger and more complex.<\/p>\n

What prior experience\/research do you have regarding this topic?<\/p>\n

Throughout my professional career, I have been involved with almost every link of the Supply Chain, from raw materials to manufacturing to retail. During my education journey, I have acquired more skills that help me become a better logistician and bring value to my career and growth. I will have fun writing this paper.<\/p>\n

What is the Theme\/Slant?<\/p>\n

Apart from explaining the importance of logistics and its complexity, my theme will be based on showing how our daily lives are affected by logistics. Also, how every part of the Supply Chain is important, how our lives have changed in past years thanks to logistics, and why our future will be determined by the understanding and development of logistics.<\/p>\n
