2. English historian, Sir Acton, said “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Locate at least one character from any two of the stories from this unit who demonstrate this all-too-human tendency.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Certain characters in the Unit Two readings seem to hold to chauvinistic ideas that men are superior to women, at least as represented by their sexist attitudes. Identify and compare chauvinistic characters in any or all of these readings – using passages and scenes to prove your response.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
