The COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on the global economy in an unparalleled fashion. Each step of this three-part core assessment will challenge you to apply key macroeconomic theory concepts to this real-world case study (that we all lived through). In this unit, you are tasked with analyzing the US government\u2019s reaction to the pandemic through the lens of macroeconomic theory regarding fiscal and monetary policy.<\/p>\n

CLO 6 – Define \u201cexpansionary\u201d and \u201ccontractionary\u201d fiscal policies; use the Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply Model to illustrate and explain appropriate fiscal policy and its impacts on the price level and real GDP.<\/p>\n
