The board wants to hear about their options. You just learned about Piaget and Vygotsky and their view of cognitive development.

You just learned about the concept of socialization. In modern society, there are a variety of different cultures we can analyze and understand their influence on Teenagers. For this discussion, I want you to analyze one modern culture that influences teenagers. <\/span>

 Your cultural analysis should include the following: <\/span>
1) You should describe two cultural norms set by this culture (1 point)<\/span>
2) Analyze whether you think there is a moral component to that culture (i.e., do people think you are a bad person if you act a certain way within this culture; 1 point)<\/span>
3) Describe how these cultural norms are communicated to us (1 point)<\/span>
4) Analyze what sort of impact this culture has on modern teenagers. Is it positive or negative and why? (1 point)<\/span>
5) Respond to at least one person’s analysis of a culture. Do you agree\/disagree with this assessment and why? Do you think this culture is a positive or negative for modern adolescents? (1 point)<\/span>
