A literature review report is required for each student. The review report should follow the requirements below: 1. The report should be typed in a Word file, with 1.5 lines spacing, Times Roman 12- point font, and Normal margin. 2. Your report should review no less than 10 pieces of literature. 3. The literature should be current with the published year no earlier than 2010. 4. All reviewed literature should be properly cited. A \u201cList of References\u201d should be provided at the end of the report. The citation and references should follow the ASME format, which can be found at https:\/\/www.asme.org\/publications- submissions\/proceedings\/author-guidelines\/elements-of-a-paper\/references. 5. The report should be 6 pages minimum and 10 pages maximum, excluding the cover page and list of references. Excessive and unnecessary spaces intently left in the submitted report will be removed when grading. Figures and tables, if used, should be properly numbered, formatted, and referred to in the context. 6. The report should be organized using headings and subheadings. It should include (but not be limited to) the following contents: \u2022 Title \u2022 Abstract (no more than half a page): A concise summary of your review including the scope of your review, and what you found as a result of your topic. It should give the reader a complete picture of your review from start to finish. \u2022 Introduction (no more than 1 page): background information and why the topic of the report is important) \u2022 Main contents: includes a few sections and paragraphs that discuss all pieces of literature you reviewed \u2022 Conclusions (no more than 1 page): a summary of all conclusions you drew from the main contents and what you have learned from writing this report III. Evaluation Submitted reports will be evaluated by the following criteria: 1. Cover Page (course number, course name, section number, semester, report title, and student name): 10% 2. Writing quality (grammar, typos, punctuation, writing skills): 20% 3. Presentation quality (formatting, figures, tables, citations, headings): 20% 4.
