Additionally, candidates describe comprehensive progress monitoring systems within their school settings and how a variety of student performance data is utilized to identify areas that need improvement, and how school leaders use the data and identified areas for improvement to provide coaching to improve student learning and promote high expectations for the academic growth and well-being of all students. Candidates reflect on this process, including potential areas for further review or improvement. Candidates submit a 2-to-3-page paper addressing each topic area in narrative format.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 2: <\/strong>In collaboration with teachers and school leaders, candidates identify a subject area of focus (e.g., math, reading) and review the school\u2019s use of evidence-based interventions, and approaches to acceleration and enrichment.
