rather than turn away from it<\/p>\n

** a dynamic of wonder and concern<\/p>\n

** enacting a \u2018heightened\u2019 attitude as contrasted with the natural attitude in which <\/p>\n

humans typically go about their daily affairs; these writers and poets enact a kind of <\/p>\n

intensity, involvement, engagement with life that positions them to perceive and feel <\/p>\n

things from a broader, or \u2018heightened\u2019, perspective<\/p>\n
