    You are writing a true crime story. You can also think of it as an investigative news article. Your job is to create interest in the events of Soldier Island to the people who do not know what happened. What you write should be something that gets as many people to read your story as possible. You can be as interesting and suspenseful as you want to be. Or you can simply tell the story as it happened. Here is the key, the people who read your true crime story expect you to have done all the investigations and to know the correct information.<\/p>\n

    Story Requirements<\/p>\n

    1. Includes a Title that catches attention<\/li>\n
    2. Cover\u2019s the 5 W\u2019s of Journalism (Who\/What\/Where\/When\/Why) AND How<\/li>\n
    3. This is the content of the article. This is where you will show what you know.<\/li>\n
    4. You don\u2019t have to worry too much about this. It will be included as you tell what happened on the island.<\/li>\n
    5. Include an Interview of a Minor Character<\/li>\n
    6. Fred Narracot, Inspector Maine, Assistant Commissioner Legge, Sticklehaven community member, Captain of the Emma Jane<\/li>\n
    7. Must ask AND answer 5 questions<\/li>\n
    8. This is the one part where your opinion might enter your article based on what the person you are interviewing might know.<\/li>\n

      4. The final article is due by the end of the school day on Wednesday, December 11 at the end of the school day.<\/li>\n
