For your final project, you may choose your own project, any format, any genre to combine art and activism. Please read this article for inspiration:<\/p>\n
https:\/\/www.artic.edu\/highlights\/28\/art-activism<\/a><\/p>\n You should take into consideration the design elements as outlined previously in the course:<\/p>\n 1. line<\/p>\n 2. shape<\/p>\n 3. color<\/p>\n 4. texture<\/p>\n 5. pattern\/rhythm<\/p>\n 6. proportion\/scale<\/p>\n 7. space\/focal point\/depth <\/p>\n Your artistic statement (at least 200 words) should include your discussion of these terms as well as what your message to the world is in your project.<\/p>\n Some suggested creative projects (if you’re looking for direction):<\/p>\n –a photographic series (minimum 3-5 images)<\/p>\n –a painting<\/p>\n –a drawing<\/p>\n –a meal (try cooking a meal from your cultural heritage and\/or the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage listing<\/a>)<\/p>\n –a video<\/p>\n \u2013a sculpture<\/p>\n –a poster (digital or print)<\/p>\n
