Discuss the:\n<ol>\n<li>Research background (brief introduction to problem)<\/li>\n<li>Research problem (e.g., what is the gap in the literature?)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Literature Review:\n<ol>\n<li>Thorough review of relevant literature.<\/li>\n<li>Must include at least 15 scholarly citations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Study Purpose:\n<ol>\n<li>Describe significance of study (e.g., how it addressed \u201cgap\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Clearly state research questions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>Proposed Sample: Describe the characteristics of the sample in question.\n<ol>\n<li>Potential size.<\/li>\n<li>Defining characteristics.<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion\/exclusion criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Design: A description of the design used.\n<ol>\n<li>Type of design.<\/li>\n<li>Worldview associated with the design.<\/li>\n<li>Rationale\/justification for the design.<\/li>\n<li>Design diagram (if necessary).<\/li>\n<li>Independent\/dependent variable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Instrumentation: A description of data collection tools.\n<ol>\n<li>Describe any tests\/assessments\/surveys\/interview protocols, etc. in very clear detail (include a copy in the appendix).<\/li>\n<li>Describe background on their use in other studies.<\/li>\n<li>Describe development (how were they created).<\/li>\n<li>Describe validity\/reliability information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Procedures: Describe the procedures used to collect data.\n<ol>\n<li>Describe what the participants will do.<\/li>\n<li>Give information about interventions\/treatments or how interviews will be conducted, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Analysis: Description of a proposed method of analysis.\n<ol>\n<li>Should be appropriate to research design.<\/li>\n<li>Describe how data will be analyzed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>References: APA style list of references.<\/li>\n<li>Appendix: Any supporting documentation such as instruments, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no word limit or page requirement for this assignment. However, reasonable proposals may likely range from 20 \u2013 30 pages, including all elements. You need to provide as much detail as is sufficient to provide strong support for your proposal.
