For this assignment you will create a presentation on the case of Ann.  Your presentation will be to a group of interns at your agency.  In this presentation be sure to:<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  • Discuss how issues of social justice and SDOH may impact mental health severity and duration. <\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide information on how social workers can address issues of social justice when working with clients. <\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Complete a differential diagnosis for the case of Ann: <\/span><\/span>\n

    • Highlight the symptoms you think are relevant to assigning a clinical diagnosis and their duration (when possible). <\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
    • List all potential diagnoses based on the symptoms you identified in step one. <\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Identify your primary diagnosis.  You can have a secondary and\/or rule-out diagnosis.  A rule-out diagnosis is when you suspect another diagnosis but do not have enough information to make that diagnosis.  <\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
