The conflict that emerges in family businesses is unique since there is an emotional and deep sentimental value in the family dynamics. There are two main issues that emerge when exploring the family business. First, understanding how the conflicts are linked to owners, managers, and the entities of the family. This analysis generally finds more than one conflict or overlapping conflicts. Second, when designing a conflict resolution approach, ownership, management roles, and the entities must be considered for a successful resolution.
