Purpose:<\/span> Through this essay, you will demonstrate an understanding of persuasive techniques, purpose, style, and thesis. You will create an essay in MLA format.  <\/p>\n

Structure:<\/span> Use a Rogerian-style essay structure or use the classical organization (see the supplemental reading from Excelsior OWL and the video in Week 12). Regardless of the structure you choose to use, I am expecting you, at the minimum, to state your stance by the end of the first paragraph, state multiple reasons for your stance within your body paragraphs, and provide one opposing argument that strengthens your stance.

Requirements: <\/span>Your Argument Essay should be between four-six pages<\/span><\/span> in length, contain multiple paragraphs, and include at least three scholarly sources. Two of those three sources must be from a BCC library database (see Week 13)<\/span>, and each body paragraph must include information from at least one of those three sources. Quote source information word-for-word, use in-text citations, and place the source citations on a correctly-formatted Works Cited page. (Your Works Cited page is not included in the page length count.) Be creative in your titling, and use correct MLA formatting throughout your essay.<\/span><\/p>\n
