SPCH 210 Problem-Solution Presentation Guidelines<\/span>
Directions:<\/span> <\/span>Your final group presentation will be an<\/span> <\/span>individual<\/span> <\/span>presentation, with the goal being that the<\/span>
audience accept your<\/span> <\/span>group\u2019s<\/span> <\/span>proposed policy change. Just as has been the case with the previous Information<\/span>
Panel presentation, this final presentation will be delivered using the extemporaneous (outline) mode of<\/span>
delivery. The time limit for the overall presentation will again be 4-6 minutes.<\/span>
This speech is to be research-based;<\/span> <\/span>you must include a minimum of three research sources that will be<\/span>
cited during the presentation. Of these three sources, no more than one should come from the Internet<\/span>.<\/span>
Also, with a few exceptions, encyclopedias and dictionaries are<\/span> <\/span>not<\/span> <\/span>considered to be acceptable as research<\/span>
sources.<\/span>
Please follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style guide when creating your reference list;<\/span>
your reference list should be submitted as a Word document that accompanies your YouTube link which are<\/span>
both emailed to me.<\/span>
Your group will also need to create a contract that indicates who will be responsible for the various parts of the<\/span>
presentation, i.e, Introduction, discussion of the Problem, Grid, etc. This contract should be included in your<\/span>
group\u2019s home page so that all members have access to it.<\/span>
