The purpose of this assignment is to examine what managers do by performing an in-person interview of a managerial position from our UCF community.  The interview must be with a manager at UCF. There are many, many managers at UCF. Examples include managers at any of the restaurants\/shops\/RWC, any department leader or department and any service provider (for example the UCF Student ID card provider)  on campus.  Students will act as consultants to uncover how managers utilize key concepts such as leadership, communication, decision-making, motivation, human resources, etc. at UCF.  Clearly identity all relevant concepts and use management terminology. Give a brief description of the manager and their department\/college.<\/span><\/p>\n

When meeting with your interview manager, be sure to make an appointment and dress professionally. Allow for 30 minutes of question time. Include the manager\u2019s business card on the front page of your assignment.<\/span><\/p>\n
