Use the communication model to describe the interactions and dynamics of noise and feedback what messages were encoded, what channels were utilized including nonverbal expressions, clothes, music etc. Look below the surface. What co-cultures are in play and what bias \/co cultural bias or conflict is being communicated? Pick out scene(s) and note their time in the movie to explain your observations.<\/p>\n<p> Movies, documentaries, podcasts, TV shows, Netflix, HBO, etc like the  below are examples to think about, analyze and  be the subject of the essay.  When discussing the following use the co-culture(s) being represented in the activity. Look for the subtleties of communication. Observing below the surface from a co-cultural communication perspective.<\/p>\n<p>Observe and describe the nonverbal communication:  include as many of the relevant following general appearance, dress, body movements, posture, use of facial expressions, gestures, touch, eye contact, para language, use of personal space, furnishing of home personal artifacts, use of time, silence from a specific scene with the time of that scene referenced, values and philosophies about life concerns, any thing you feel important about an understanding of the meaning of the intercultural activity. and interaction between co-cultures and ensuing conflicts. What did these professional communicators use to get us feeling and thinking. HOW DID YOU FEEL WHILE WATCHING THE MOVIE(MEDIA). The encoding of the film makers is important to observe. These revolved around the discussion of the communication model and nonverbal communication and noise. Where do breakdowns\/noise\/bias occur? in the movie between co-cultures?<\/p>\n<p>Include at least 2 text references from the Jandt text, Chapters 3-4. chapters 8-11 , previous chapters included.  The chapters are cumulative and please reference what you use for references. Outside sources as with all sources please credit.<\/p>\n<p>Also observe and describe the following verbal communication where relevant: jargon, slang,, formal vs. informal language, gender, class, age, disabilities and occupation influences, respect, dialects, accents. All aspects of the co-cultures observed in the movie Your analysis of this discussion should be at least  3 to 5 pages. I will respond and provide additional insight into the intercultural themes that were raised in the assignment. Your overall &#8220;what you learned&#8221; and impression from the experience.
