In chapter 9, you learned that the graphic rating scale is the simplest and most popular for appraising performance (see Figure 9-2 in the textbook). Make sure to define 3 job dimensions with behavioral examples in your evaluation form. For example, you might have oral communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, etc. These job dimensions evaluated will be different from job to job. Next, make sure to include behavioral examples to rate the level performance standards for each rating area which include below expectations, meets expectations, and role model (exceed expectations).
