Build on our previous cross-cultural research efforts by reviewing your first research presentation.<\/p>\n

Utilize<\/strong> <\/span>the article you chose previously to design a study that will:<\/p>\n

  1. address the challenges you identified in your first research presentation and<\/li>\n
  2. further the understanding of cross-cultural psychological features (e.g., values, identity, emotion, cognition, perception, personality, morality, mental illness).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Describe<\/strong> <\/span>proposed goals, hypothesis(es), and methods.<\/p>\n

    Be sure to specifically address how your proposed research design will resolve challenges and expand our understanding<\/p>\n

    Scholarly sources should be cited in-text, APA style throughout the post with references at the end. Scholarly support should be cited throughout the post.<\/p>\n

    Respond to others<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Identify (in detail) 2-3 potential challenges that may come up in carrying out the proposed cross-cultural research study that might impact results. Discuss and make suggestions (2-3) to further strengthen the research.<\/p>\n

    Hint:<\/strong> <\/span>Go back to your results from the Hofstede Survey. Take a look your results compared with your country or origin’s results. Did they match up perfectly? If you noted any differences, you have an example of potential challenges in conducting cross-cultural research.<\/p>\n
