Purpose<\/span>: The purpose of this final project is to demonstrate<\/span> <\/span>students\u2019<\/span> <\/span>deep understanding of<\/span>
the<\/span> <\/span>course content and of how the key<\/span> <\/span>elements of research<\/span>, including problem, theoretical<\/span>
framework, literature review, and method,<\/span> <\/span>can be used in an intersected manner<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Format:<\/span> <\/span>See the APA guideline book for the format. The research proposal should include all key<\/span>
research components discussed in class. Given that this is a final project, in lieu of a final exam, it<\/span>
must demonstrate the students\u2019 deep understanding of<\/span> <\/span>the course objectives<\/span>. <\/span>APA style (7th<\/span>
edition) is required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
Criteria:<\/span> <\/span>The<\/span> <\/span>final project will be evaluated based on the following major criteria:<\/span><\/span>
\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Apparent understanding of course conte<\/span>nt and the intersection of the concepts<\/span>: It should<\/span>
be clear that<\/span> <\/span>the student has<\/span> <\/span>an<\/span> <\/span>in<\/span>–<\/span>depth knowledge of the key<\/span> <\/span>research components<\/span> <\/span>(e.g.,<\/span>
problem, theoretical framework, methodology, and etc.<\/span>) and how they<\/span> <\/span>could be<\/span> <\/span>presented in<\/span>
a cohesive manner.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
