Task 2 \u2013 (Mini) Essay in the UK academic style<\/span><\/p>\n This task will be worth up to 5% of the total module mark, depending on the quality of your submission. It is also a similar style of task to the final module task (worth 90%), so the learning you get from completing this task (task 2) will benefit you when you attempt the main module task (task 3).<\/span><\/p>\n DEADLINE: (week 7) – Friday 15th November, 4pm.<\/span><\/p>\n Submit to the correct seminar tutor link on week 7 HR4003 Moodle page<\/span><\/p>\n Task:<\/span><\/p>\n Write a 500 to 600 word <\/span><\/span>\u2018essay\u2019<\/span> <\/span>to answer the following question:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Does the company <\/span><\/span>BrewDog<\/span> <\/span>show a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility or is their approach quite contradictory and hypocritical?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Rules:<\/span><\/p>\n Please follow the follow instructions or we may not be able to give you a good mark:<\/span><\/p>\n 1. You have been given an <\/span><\/span>\u201capproved sources list\u201d<\/span> <\/span>you must use (cite) <\/span><\/span>all <\/span><\/span>of the sources at least once in your essay. The approved source list is at the end of this document.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 2. You must <\/span><\/span>NOT<\/span> <\/span>use (cite) other sources; only use the sources on the list. The only exception would be if you find one additional source to support your argument and you get permission from your seminar tutor to use it.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 3. The essay needs to be at least 500 words long (or it may get a lower mark) but no more than 600 words long. The word count <\/span><\/span>does<\/span> <\/span>include all you in-text citations \u2013 for example, (Barbiroglio, 2020) added at the end of a sentence. It also includes your headings. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The 500-600 word count does <\/span><\/span>NOT<\/span> <\/span>include the reference list at the end (this should start on separate page) or your cover page\/front sheet etc, these are NOT counted as part of the total word limit.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 4.
