In this study, they are expected to write a textual <\/span>analysis of a chosen case study. The textual analysis needs to be driven by <\/span>a main <\/span>question <\/span>and <\/span>a <\/span>thesis <\/span>statement\/argument <\/span>that <\/span>explores <\/span>at least <\/span>one <\/span>theoretical <\/span>concept <\/span>learnt <\/span>in <\/span>class. <\/span>Although they are important to a text\u2019s overall construction, <\/span>aesthetics alone <\/span>is <\/span>not considered a theoretical <\/span>concept. <\/span>The <\/span>research portfolio for this essay <\/span>should also include <\/span>at least 3 other relevant academic texts <\/span>that further contextualize <\/span>and embellish upon the research question and the thesis statement \/ argument. <\/span>Apart <\/span>from <\/span>a <\/span>main <\/span>question <\/span>or <\/span>thesis <\/span>statement\/argument, <\/span>the <\/span>introduction <\/span>should include a <\/span>brief <\/span>overview of how the <\/span>proceeding analysis will support the claims <\/span>made <\/span>. The <\/span>textual analysis <\/span>needs <\/span>to demonstrate <\/span>a good <\/span>application <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>method and <\/span>provide <\/span>critical interpretations <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>analyzed <\/span>material in <\/span>ways <\/span>that <\/span>reflect <\/span>back <\/span>on <\/span>the <\/span>core theoretical concept the essay aimed to explore.<\/span><\/div>\n
