              My definition of Justice:<\/u><\/div>\n
                As an Indigenous woman, justice means having a voice that stands equal to my non-Indigenous neighbors. It is the hope that future generations will live in a society where they feel safer and less constrained by systems that were never designed for us. Justice demands that we confront and dismantle structures rooted in colonial history\u2014systems built to oppress non-Western peoples\u2014and rebuild them to ensure that every individual, regardless of ethnicity or race, has a rightful seat at the table. It is also about honoring Indigenous wisdom, integrating cultural perspectives, and recognizing the value they bring to decision-making and policy. Justice is not only about holding wrongdoers accountable when they bring harm\u2014whether physical, emotional, or spiritual\u2014but also about paving a path toward collective healing for Indigenous communities and for all people.  <\/b><\/i><\/div>\n
