When Mommy and Daddy leaves for the day, Rom-rom spends times under Lola\u2019s care.

\nThey go once or twice around the same block, Lola even checks to see what\u2019s in the mailbox.
\nAfter they walk they rest for a bit.
\nLola gets the high chair where Rom-rom could sit.
\n\u201cKain na!\u201d she walks in with a treat\u2026 a bowl of arroz caldo for Rom-rom to eat!
\nUbe ice cream is what\u2019s for dessert, another yummy treat a good boy deserves.
\nThe two love to watch Pinoy shows together.
\nIf you walk by the house, you\u2019ll hear bursts of laughter.
\nMost of the time a game show is on TV.
\nTogeththey clas and cheer \u201chooray!\u201d loudly.
\nFor meryenda Rom-rom ears Pinoy snacks. At Lola\u2019s house , the broas come in packs.
\nShe also has polvoron and uraro cookies.
\nAlong with some tasty vanilla-filled goodies.

\nLola grabs the book, \u201cAng Pagong at ang Matsing\u201d
\nIts popular fable about outsmarting a bully.
\nShe hopes that her apo will learn from this story.
\nLola teaches Rom-rom Filipino cultural lessons.
\nSuch as honoring-gestures and polite expressions.
\nShe teaches him to use \u201cpo\u201d, \u201copo\u201d and the proper way to \u201cmano\u201d.
\nThe blue truck comes back every afternoon. It\u2019s a signal for Rom-rom that it\u2019s to go soon.
