For this assignment, you will use Linoit to help you review what you are learning about students with intellectual and developmental disorders. In this module are resources on how to create a Linoit. You use either Option One (group with faculty) or Option Two (no group with faculty), working on Linoit Main Page): the same procedure that you used in the previous module this semester.     <\/span><\/p>\n

 Work on your My Canvas Linoit Page<\/strong><\/span>: With this option, you will work on your My Linoit Canvas Main Page. Faculty will need access to your Linoit assignments. Therefore, you must share your username and password in your Canvas submission. Note: You should create a username and password unique to Linoit, not other sites.    <\/span><\/p>\n

    Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Step 1: <\/span><\/strong>Create a new Linoit and include the requirements below.  <\/p>\n

    Linoit Requirements:<\/strong> <\/span>Each of you will post the following:<\/p>\n

    • Six Characteristics and Causes of Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities<\/strong>. You will post three characteristics of students with intellectual and developmental disorders and three causes of developmental disorders. Put a “heading note” above these notes entitled “Characteristics and Causes of  Students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.” <\/li>\n
    • Six Effective Teaching Academic and Social Skill Strategies on Notes<\/strong>. You will post, name, and then briefly describe a combination of six effective teaching and behavior strategies for students with Intellectual Disorders (6 in total). Put a “heading note” above these notes entitled “Effective Teaching and Social Skill Strategies.”  You must include a combination of teaching and social skill strategies.<\/li>\n
    • Two Useful Websites<\/strong>: You will post <\/span>the URL, name, and a brief description of online sites<\/strong> <\/span>where teachers and parents can learn more about working with students with intellectual and developmental disorders or sites where students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities can engage in learning activities. <\/li>\n
    • Two Videos<\/strong>. You will embed two YouTube videos related to students with intellectual disorders. You must put a note near the video with a brief description of what you learned in the video. <\/span>Note:<\/strong> <\/span>you must embed the video, not just put a hyperlink to the YouTube site.<\/li>\n
    • Include at least two Functional Images and Headings, and ensure your Linoit layout is well organized<\/strong>. You should include functional videos to help those who visit your Linoit follow its content. Be sure to include a Linoit heading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
