For the first paper assignment, you need to choose to write on one<\/b> of the two themes below. Decide which topic you want to write about, and then write an essay in <\/span>response to the question.<\/span><\/p>\n Your response should address all parts of the question. It should include specific<\/p>\n references, citations, and quotations from the readings listed. Your essay should make<\/p>\n reference to all<\/b> of the readings in Group A and at least four<\/b> of the sources in Group B<\/p>\n for either prompt.<\/p>\n You must cite sources<\/b> to back up any statements you make.<\/p>\n You must cite sources using footnotes<\/b>, in the Chicago or Turabian style<\/b><\/span>. If you aren\u2019t<\/p>\n familiar with this style, look it up online. There are many, many guides and examples.<\/p>\n The text of your paper should be double-spaced<\/b>. It should be in 12-point Times New<\/b><\/p>\n Roman font<\/b>, and roughly 1500 words<\/b> (about five double-spaced pages).
