Throughout my time with AMU, the knowledge within my degree, Hospitality of Meeting and Events, essential event planning skills like handling logistics, budgeting, time management, and negotiating were some of the many skills I attained. These skills acquired provide the knowledge and skills needed to create a strong career development plan using the SMART objectives plan. By breaking down and restructuring my goals, I can refigure my ambitions into achievable steps for instance, I am planning to transition from my current role, as in my case, to a mid-level supervisory position within 3 years, and then aim for an executive or director role by year 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

All this change does not happen overnight, because of this, the use of skills obtained throughout my years of schooling became beneficial. Strategic thinking allows me to better align my life events with my business goals. My knowledge about negotiations, contracts, and logistics, which are crucial for handling complex incentive events, help me understand the severity of my choices, which in turn helps my objectivity in planning for effective and substantial results that align with my aspirations and not just plain old results. I am thankful for my education and will use it to the best of my abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n
