need it to be slightly rewritten and add refrences and citations which is vital. <\/span><\/div>\n
I have poorly done the citations so can you either find articles and sources that are suitable or find newer ones that are just as valuable. <\/p>\n

    Please make sure you have done the following:<\/p>\n

    The basics….your coursework should be
    \n handed in, in the following format:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    •  The correct title <\/span>with the correct dates <\/span>at the top<\/span><\/li>\n
    •  Double-spaced and with your name and candidate number
      \n on every page (preferably in the header) and a total <\/span>word count<\/span><\/li>\n
    •  In size 11 font and with normal margins so we have
      \n plenty of space to annotate<\/span><\/li>\n
    •  Fully referenced with both footnotes and a bibliography
      \n \u2013 organised logically eg. Alphabetically<\/span><\/li>\n
    •  An appendix with your 3 sources and 2 interpretations
      \n clearly numbered and in the order in which they appear in the essay<\/span><\/li>\n
    •  Attach a completed Candidate Record Form, <\/span>fully <\/span>completed (ie. double-check
      \n you have entered your name and candidate number twice, your title and
      \n your word count, as well as signing\/dating it)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      The essay needs\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      •  A clear introduction which introduces the major themes
        \n and sets out a clear line of argument. 
        \n <\/span>Make sure you have addressed how the issue under discussion might
        \n have <\/span>changed (or stayed the same) over the period in question<\/span><\/li>\n
      •  Paragraphs which have a clear point at the start and
        \n then use <\/span>specific<\/span> supporting evidence to back this up (this should be
        \n from both sources and your own knowledge), make sure you include <\/span>analysis <\/span>throughout \u2013 you should be
        \n continually answering the question and linking back to your overall
        \n argument<\/span><\/li>\n
      •  Coverage of the whole 100 year period (you should check
        \n that you have mentioned every decade at least once, and definitely should
        \n not have a gap of more than 10-20 years)<\/span><\/li>\n
      •  A conclusion which comes back to your overall argument
        \n and <\/span>fully<\/span>
        \n explains why you believe that to be the case.  <\/span>It should not include any new evidence
        \n but instead should aim to stand back and look at the issue over the whole
        \n time period<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Primary sources – you MUST have three of at least two
        \n different types (ie. you can\u2019t have 3 speeches)<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        •  Start the evaluation of each source with a brief,
          \n explained judgement on how valuable it is to a historian <\/span>in finding
          \n out about the issue in the question?<\/span><\/li>\n
        •  You must look at both content and
          \n provenance for each source. <\/span> <\/span>For example,
          \n think about the following for each source (not all of these may apply to
          \n every source but you should make sure you have discussed all that are
          \n relevant):<\/span><\/li>\n
            \n
          • What does the content
            \n reveal \/ what can you infer from it about your question? How does this
            \n make it more\/less valuable?<\/span><\/li>\n
          • The perspective of the
            \n source \u2013 who wrote it? what was the purpose? How does this make it
            \n more\/less valuable?<\/span><\/li>\n
          • The social, political,
            \n intellectual, religious and\/or economic context in which it was written
            \n \u2013 when was it written?  <\/span>How does
            \n this further explain its perspective? 
            \n <\/span>How does this make it more\/less valuable?<\/span><\/li>\n
          • How credible is the
            \n source?  <\/span>How much authority does
            \n it have?  <\/span>Is it consistent with
            \n your other knowledge?  <\/span>How
            \n comprehensive is it?  <\/span>Is there
            \n anything it misses out?  <\/span>How does
            \n this make it more\/less valuable?<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Is
            \n the source propaganda or does it distort the truth in any crucial
            \n ways?  <\/span>How does this make it
            \n more\/less valuable?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

            NB.
            \n ALL sources are valuable to historians, you just have to focus on how valuable
            \n it is for answering your specific question \u2013 eg. propaganda or very
            \n exaggerated sources can still be valuable for telling us about attitudes or
            \n methods that were used at the time<\/p>\n

             <\/span><\/p>\n

            Historical interpretations<\/span><\/p>\n

              \n
            •  Make it very clear from the start how convincing the
              \n interpretation it is, in relation to your question<\/span><\/li>\n
            •  For each interpretation state <\/span>briefly<\/span> what the argument is that
              \n you are evaluating eg. \u2018Huntington argues\u2026.\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n
            •  State what <\/span>is<\/span> convincing about it \u2013 use your own knowledge
              \n to do this and any other historians who would also support this
              \n argument.  <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
            •  State what <\/span>is not <\/span>so convincing about it \u2013
              \n again use your own knowledge and any other historians who would
              \n contradict this argument<\/span><\/li>\n
            •  You MUST also comment on the limitations\/context of the
              \n interpretation.  <\/span>For example:<\/span><\/li>\n
                \n
              • Is the time or context in
                \n which the historian was writing significant in explaining their
                \n perspective?<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Are there any other factors
                \n or limitations which might have influenced their argument? (eg. was
                \n certain information not available? Or do their personal beliefs tell us
                \n anything useful)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              •  Ensure you have done the process above for BOTH
                \n interpretations<\/span><\/li>\n
              •  Evaluate which you think is the <\/span>more <\/span>convincing argument and
                \n explain why<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                •  Make sure the three elements above are integrated with
