I can\u2019t imagine police officers 1) being high while working or<br \/>\nresponding to incidents 2) being addicted to marijuana and trying to<br \/>\nmaintain a career 3) being effective in the field. This drug causes mood<br \/>\n swings, impairs the memory along with altering the sense of time. These<br \/>\n are all major factors affecting police work. How is an officer supposed<br \/>\n to be effective if he\u2019s unfocused, moody and not really paying<br \/>\nattention to his\/her surroundings. This seems like a recipe for disaster<br \/>\n for any city it is implemented.
