For these assignments, you will
\ntake on the role of a consultant for a government agency. Your consulting firm
\nhas been asked by the agency to conduct research, compile a report, and provide
\nrecommendations for improvement of their personnel management system. The first
\nrole of the consultant is to become familiar with the agency and its
\ndepartments. You will develop the assignment in four parts, submitting each to
\nyour supervisor (your professor) who will review and grade your efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this assignment, you will continue to research the agency you
\nselected for the Week 3 assignment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instructions<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Write a 3\u20134-page paper, titled “Analysis of the Agency’s
\nPolicies, Procedures, and Plans Regarding Unions, Privatization, Pensions, and
\nProductivity,” in which you:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Determine
    \n whether your selected agency should have union representation. Defend your
    \n position with at least two reasons (title this section “The Agency
    \n and Unions”).<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Determine
    \n whether your selected agency should privatize its services. Defend your
    \n position with at least two reasons (title this section “The Agency
    \n and Privatization”).<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Analyze
    \n at least two of the agency’s policies, procedures, and\/or plans regarding
    \n pensions (title this section “Employee Pension Plans”).<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Recommend
    \n at least three actions the agency could take to improve in the areas of
    \n productivity and performance evaluation (title this section
    \n “Recommendations for Improving Productivity and Performance
    \n Evaluation”).<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Appropriately
    \n incorporate at least four quality sources. A quality source can be either
    \n popular, such as a news article, or scholarly, such as peer-reviewed
