In this assignment, you will write a \u201cLetter to Your Future Self\u201d as a manager per the parameters below.  This assignment is designed to help you reflect deeply on the importance of a global mindset <\/span><\/span>in adapting your<\/span> <\/span>communication styles for greater success when working in an intercultural environment, the role of diversity in contemporary project teams, and how project managers can effectively manage global perspectives in working groups for the benefit of projects. This reflection consists of several important steps and cultural profile assessments. Please complete <\/span><\/span>all<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>the steps.<\/span>

<\/span>Step 1 \u2013 Complete HBR Cultural Profile<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Reflect on your own global mindset profile.  Complete Erin Meyer\u2019s \u201cWhat\u2019s Your Cultural Profile?\u201d Assessment on the<\/span> <\/span>Harvard Business Review<\/span><\/em><\/strong> <\/span>Portal<\/span><\/a><\/span> to gain insight into your own culturally-based tendencies and preferences. This assessment will help you to determine how well you understand cultural differences within the workplace.<\/span>

<\/span>Step 2 \u2013 Attach Results: <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <\/span>
<\/span>Download your results.  You will attach your results to your essay.  Also, attach the results of the two assessments linked in Section 3 (the \u201cPersonal Report of Intercultural Communication Apprehension<\/a><\/span>\u201d (PRICA) and the \u201cIntercultural Communication Competence Scale<\/a><\/span>\u201d (ICCS)).<\/span>

<\/span>Step 3 \u2013 Writing Prompt: <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <\/span>
<\/span>Write a \u201cLetter to your Future Self\u201d as a manager in the style of an advice piece.  Reflect on your \u201cCultural Profile Assessment\u201d results and include your cultural profile details in the essay. Also, reflect on your PRICA and ICCS scores (Are there any patterns? Were your assessment scores higher or lower than your intended goals?)  Be sure to write to \u201cyou\u201d in the second-person perspective (using \u201cyou\u201d), starting with \u201cDear _(first name)__, my future self as a manager.\u201d<\/span>
