It is useless, however, unless it is implemented. In most organizations, you need permission and\/or support to implement a project involving change, so you must now present your change project to administrators and\/or other appropriate leaders for consideration.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For this final milestone, you will develop and record the delivery of a presentation using Milestones 1 and 2. The presentation will include the experience of implementing the project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1. Prepare
<\/strong>Prepare to develop your presentation by studying tips and key features of high-quality presentations. One resource is \u201cMaking Better PowerPoint Presentations <\/span><\/a>\u2013 Center for Teaching, Vanderbilt University <\/p>\n

Step 2: Create
<\/strong>Utilize products from previous milestones to create a PowerPoint presentation which includes the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Title slide<\/li>\n
  2. Description of the ACE Star Model of Knowledge Transformation\u00a9<\/sup> <\/span>that was used<\/li>\n
  3. Description of practice issue & PICOT<\/li>\n
  4. Scope of the problem\u2014Use basic statistics from what is known about the issue in a practice setting.<\/li>\n
  5. Diverse practice team members\/stakeholders (From Milestone 2)<\/li>\n
  6. Evidence to support the need for change from the Evidence Summary<\/li>\n
  7. Action Plan<\/li>\n
  8. Timeline for the plan (Determine how the plan would be implemented.)<\/li>\n
  9. Summary of Implementation of the Project<\/li>\n
  10. The nurse\u2019s role and responsibility in leading the implementation<\/li>\n
  11. Perspective of how the plan affects the organization (Consideration for the organizational mission, how the plan affects staffing, staff development, patient\/staff satisfaction, and financial considerations)<\/li>\n
  12. Procedure (What steps are to be taken to complete this change process from start to finish?)<\/li>\n
  13. Forms that will be used (if applicable)<\/li>\n
  14. Planned Evaluation: How quality care and\/or safety may be affected, measured, and evaluated (Provide specific evaluation method.)<\/li>\n

    Your presentation should have no more than 15-20 slides, including the title and references slides.<\/p>\n

    Step 3: Record
    <\/strong>Record a video presentation using Zoom that incorporates your PowerPoint. Your presentation should be 15-18 minutes, with an absolute maximum of 18 minutes.<\/p>\n

    • Keep in mind one key of high-quality presentations is being clear and concise. Practice your presentation in a mirror before recording. Review your recording, making notes of how it could be improved; then study the notes and redo the recording.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Step 4: Submit
