Identify 1 article by researching online where the HIM code of ethics could be applied to offset negative consequences.  Examples of HIM areas of applying the HIM code of ethics are the release of information and\/or medical coding and billing.  An example can be where ethics were not followed. <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Analyze the material in 1 & 2 to find key points of applying the AHIMA code of ethics.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Determine which key points would be beneficial to communicate to senior management at your multi-facility outpatient care center.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Construct a one-page document outlining the key points of the above material around the AHIMA code of ethics that you will use to present in an upcoming meeting. Include important factors of the code of ethics and how it has been applied in the document.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
