Data collection for this study will be
\nquantitative, utilising an online survey via University of York\u2019s Google Drive.
\nThis platform is user-friendly, secure, and compatible with nurses’ devices.
\nAll data will be removed after graduation from the degree program.<\/span><\/p>\n

A cross-sectional survey will be conducted
\namong the nursing staff at the Royal Hospital in Oman. Unit nurses, who oversee
\nmultiple wards, will announce the survey during their weekly unit meetings and
\nencourage participation, but they will have no further involvement in the
\nstudy. To facilitate access, I will distribute a QR code linking to the online
\nsurvey in each ward.<\/span><\/p>\n

The online questionnaire will have four

\nadjusted, or removed. This approach ensures that the survey is clear, relevant,

The inclusion criteria for the participants are
\neither ward in charge or bedside nurses who provide direct nursing care to
\npatients in various units at the Royal Hospital. Ward in-charges are included
\nas they usually provide direct patient care too. Nurses in managerial roles and
\nthose in non-nursing departments are excluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, 1900 registered nurses at the Royal
\nHospital fit the criteria based on the “Royal Hospital\u2019s Nursing
\nEstablishment Control Report \u2013 April 2024,”. The clinical areas are varied
\nas follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nquestions, and the estimated time for completion. It will emphasise the
\nconfidentiality and anonymity of responses and clarify that participation is
\nvoluntary, with the option to withdraw at any time. Participants must check a
\nbox indicating their understanding of the information provided and their
\nconsent to participate. This approach ensures that participants are fully
\ninformed about the study and provide their consent before proceeding with the
\nsurvey.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
