This is a multi-step assignment designed to synthesize the
\nknowledge you have gained throughout the course and apply strategic management
\nconcepts to a comprehensive analysis of a firm and industry. This will be the company\/organization
\nthat you currently work<\/i> for or the one that you want to work for when
\nyou complete your MBA<\/i>. Imagine you are taking on the role of a senior
\nconsultant advising the top management team and develop a report, including
\nin-depth recommendations on the current strategy. <\/span><\/p>\n

Your recommendations should be pragmatic, evidence-based (citing
\nmultiple course materials), and geared towards actionable<\/u><\/b>
\nstrategic improvements. In other words, I should be able to provide your
\nrecommendations to the top management team, and they can implement your changes
\nwith full knowledge of expected results (i.e. if you are recommending a new
\ninternational market \u2013 what market, what barriers to entry, how can the company
\novercome them, what are the financial and human capital costs, etc.). I would
\nencourage you to consider limiting your recommendations to 2<\/u><\/b> well
\nthought out and integrated recommendations that integrate multiple functional
\nareas (i.e. marketing, operations, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two major components to this assignment: the
\ncheckpoints (24% of your grade)<\/u> and the final report (50% of your
\ngrade)<\/u>. Details of these will be available on Canvas. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>~10-20 analysis pages of 12 pt text, including as many exhibits,
\nartifacts, and visuals as you think is appropriate (figures and tables should
\nbe analyzed and explained in the text). For example, when doing a SWOT
\nanalysis, you should include a visual depiction of the SWOT and explain your analysis,
\nfocusing on \u201cso what.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Points will be awarded for professional formatting (headings,
\nbullet points, visual clarity for how text is presented), so 20 single spaced
\npages of block text will not be awarded many points. Remember that senior
\nleaders often have very little time to read and digest information, so clear
\nand concise presentation is critical!<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the length of the paper, I expect very detailed analysis
\nand recommendations that reference multiple course materials (i.e. \u201caccording
\nto the lecture\u201d and \u201caccording to the textbook\u201d) and apply them accordingly. Outside
\nmaterials are encouraged (SEC filings, company websites, etc.) and should be
\ncited appropriately.  <\/span>The rubric will be

\nyour report, you may use AI tools (i.e., ChatGPT) to assist you in some aspects
\nof the research and writing process. However, it is crucial to remember that AI
\nis limited and should be utilized as a supplementary tool only, not the primary
\nbasis for your work. Here are some guidelines on how to effectively incorporate
\nAI tools:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nother resources relevant to your analysis. Be sure to verify the data is
