You must pre-select your company and country combination to ensure 1) it is unique in the class and 2) it is a market in which your selected company is not already operating. Your strategy should include attention to the social, political, cultural, and economic environment of the country you propose entering, the entry and organizational strategies the company should advance, including potential alliances with local firms, and a discussion of the ethical, negotiation, leadership, and management challenges associated with your recommendation. This analysis should integrate the readings and cases for the course in the context of the actions of a specific firm. <\/span><\/span>Your report should be approximately 10 pages in length, excluding cover and reference pages. You should provide at least 4 references.<\/span><\/p>\n Please submit Word or PDF file only, no Google Doc links!<\/p>\n 1) Good organization, with Table of Contents, subject and paragraph headings, and logical flow.<\/p>\n 2) Extensive bibliography and in-text citations of references, either in numerical sequence, or by author and date.<\/p>\n 3) Strong argument why you believe your company’s entry into that country would be financially and strategically successful, or not. If not, you also need to make the case.<\/p>\n Also, how should they do it? – local distributor and\/or investors? franchise? licensing agreement with local manufacturer? full-blown subsidiary? Sources of management talent?<\/p>\n 4) Identify local companies that would make ideal investment partners, and why.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span>references listed in your bibliography must be cited in the text of your report. You can cite your references numerically, in the order in which they appear in the bibliography, or you can cite them by author and date of publication.
