    The novel for this course is Oscar Wilde’s <\/em>A Picture of Dorian Gray<\/em><\/span>. <\/p>\n

    As you are reading your novel, think about questions like this:<\/p>\n

    • Does the novel contain a great deal of symbolism? Perhaps you could write a paper that deals with the author’s use of symbolism in the novel.<\/li>\n
    • How does realism play into the meaning of the novel?<\/li>\n
