You will be required to identify a specific issue or problem, either recurring or emerging, within the correctional system (e.g., overcrowding, gender issues, race\/ethnicity issues, violence, riots, gangs, prisoners\u2019 rights, the death penalty, juvenile incarceration, inadequate program evaluation practice). Based on the knowledge obtained in this course and previous course work, examine what new contexts you can create as a correctional officer to tackle challenges in correctional systems. The project is divided into<span style=\"cursor: auto;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto;\">two milestones<\/span>, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final submissions. It should be well organized and include an introduction, main elements, and a reference page.
