Last week you selected a notorious mass murder to analyze for your Signature Assignment. To start preparing for your Signature Assignment this week, you will pick a point in time before the attack (e.g., the year prior or when the individual was first observed engaging in concerning behaviors), and you will need to triage the person of concern at that point in time.<\/p>\n

You will write a brief paragraph summarizing the case and then, using a Word chart:<\/p>\n

  • List and define threat enhancers (e.g., warning behaviors and other notable pre-attack indicators) based on the weekly resources and from previous weeks in the first column.<\/li>\n
  • Then in the second column, will provide the behaviors that match those threat enhancers from your case.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Remember this is only focused on the specific point in time you selected and may not yet include all of the known behaviors of concern. An example word chart is located in this week’s course resources for your reference.<\/p>\n

    Length: Word chart with a short introduction and conclusion, a total of 3-5 pages.<\/p>\n
