GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Annonated Bibliography
1) The
\nbibliography should consist of at least 10 records of publications, each
\n of them containing the following information: [author] [year of
\npublication] [title of publication] [journal\/book title] [issue\/volume]
\n[pages]. All records should follow the same format, the APA style is

2) At least five of the annotated texts should be published in the last 10 years.
\n 3) Each record should be supplied by an abstract of 130-250 words.
\n These abstracts should be done by yourself, which means that they
\nshould not be copies of the official abstracts provided by the authors
\nor the publishers of the cited publications.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1 Choose a topic
STEP 2 – Search the available e-resources for relevant publications
It is advisable to start the search using the search engine of Google Scholar.
\n Once you have found one or several articles which are particularly
\ninteresting for you, you may find useful to continue by tracing the
\npapers which have cited them, using the facilities of Google Scholar.
STEP 3 -Select a list of (at least) 10 publications and write a short abstract for each of them
\n Depending on the topic, you may find at the beginning more than a
\nhundred publications which are relevant to your topic. That means that
\nyou should select a more accountable subset of texts (consisting,
\nhowever, of no less than 10 titles). To facilitate your later task to
\nwrite a literature review on this topic, you are advised to abstract
\npublications which are interconnected \u2013 e.g. to select publications
\nwhich refer to other titles from your list or share references with
\nsome of the other papers from the list.
Read the selected papers and
\n take notes of what they have contributed to the study of the topic of
\nyour research. Then use your notes to create a short but meaningful
\nabstract for each paper. Remember that these abstracts should contain
\nuseful hints to what to read again when, during the second semester,
\nyou\u2019ll be asked to write a literature review on the selected topic.
