I could not remember a specific date when this incident happened. I believed it happened the first Friday of May 2024. I was the medication Nurse at that time in Hospice 2W. I was late in passing this patient’s medication at that time because when I was about to give his medication he looked like he was still asleep so I decided to check the blood sugar of another patient next door then another patient also asked for Morphine for pain. Then after giving the Morphine, I quickly went to the patient Mr.. I immediately asked for forgiveness my being late in giving his scheduled morning medications but he was very mad that he raised his right hand ( threatened to slap me). I was very scared but able to manage to give his medications. I did not share this incident until today May 30, 2024 to my Hospice supervisor. My nursing Supervisor investigated me today about the incident because I found out that the Patient reported my case to the Hospice Dr and my supervisor. Multiple false accusations followed regarding pt’s made story that I did not put the Lidocaine patches to the right spot where the pain on his back was located.  He also accused me of trying to evade to avoid applying his capsaicin cream on his back which is not true at all.  What will I gain from doing these said accusations. I have been working here in this department for a long time and this is the first time I encountered this situation.<\/p>\n

By the way,  every time I passed medications to this patient, he always asked personal information which I have been trying to ignore.  I even told him that I don’t want to share any personal information. <\/div>\n
