So coming from a backgroun of fast food and working my way up I have had a journey. Being a peer family advocate, a billing clerk, quality assurance coordinator, and a program manager. I have worked my way through electronical medical records and HIPAA. One benefit is not having to scan in paper work if it is electronically available. It is easier to audit as well as edit if needed. The con would be if the internet is down there is no way to access them. I feel like our world relies on technology. It is a benefit for our clients to obtrieve their records more quickly. Rather than having to go through strage to find records from 2014. <\/p>\n

I would say that for some it can be annoying it requires more signature in documentation and it feels less personal. However, its less paper documents to fill out for a client. I have worked with the electronical medical records since 2017. I have learned a lot and I feel confident when I use them. When our internet goes down it feels like a scramble. <\/p>\n

So there are pros and cons. I vote pro overall!<\/p>\n

Integrity and personality tests are assessments to help employers build a candidate\u2019s portfolio. Even so, <\/span>it\u2019s<\/span> both give great insights into the different characteristics of the candidates. Integrity measures the possibility of how trustworthy and honest a person is. A personality assessment or test can <\/span>be used<\/span> to<\/span> predict how a person will be on the job and how successful they can be. I think that employers should use integrity and personality assessments.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Can you think of <\/span>certain<\/span> positions or job categories where integrity and personality assessments are more relevant than others? Provide specific examples and explain your rationale.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some job requires more morale than others. Unfortunately, there are sad circumstances that occur around the world. Prejudices, stereotypes, and bias still lingers in every workplace. But some jobs need to have none of these. <\/span>Jobs and positions of power will need to have these assessments to ensure <\/span>the safety of the public<\/span>.<\/span> Such<\/span> as military personnel, peace officers (police officers), politicians, bankers, real estate agents, and other public careers. <\/span><\/p>\n

3. Do you think government agencies and companies in the private sector will use more or less integrity and personality testing in the future? Why? Why not?<\/span><\/p>\n

I <\/span>do<\/span> believe government agencies should and will <\/span>be using<\/span> more assessments in the future.<\/span> <\/span>Some <\/span>of the<\/span> positions require trustworthy employees <\/span>and<\/span> <\/span>they<\/span> can\u2019t risk the company\u2019s image.<\/span> Also, A personality test will help <\/span>with understanding<\/span> the candidate more and how they would qualify for the job. <\/span>This<\/span> will save the company time and money. Therefore, I do believe the government should utilize these features<\/span>. Especially<\/span> when some of these individuals will be dealing with classified information and <\/span>will<\/span> need a security clearance.<\/span><\/p>\n
