\nfundamental concepts to the extent necessary.<\/span>

\n

\n\u00b7         Please summarizes the
\npaper\u2019s structure in a roadmap.<\/span>

\n

\nthe content, the student\u2019s dissertation is evaluated on
\nthe basis of the following elements:<\/span>

\n\u00b7         Issue Statement : please
\nidentify a problem and provide a constructive analysis of it.<\/span>

\n

\n\u00b7         Legal Significance :
\nplease present a subject that is novel, not obvious, and useful to the
\naudience.<\/span>

\n\u00b7         Persuasive Argument: The
\nargument in support of the thesis is clear, logical, and sustained throughout
\nthe document. Please make connections to broader related issues, without
\ntangents or distractions (e.g., comparative law for instance between the UAE
\nand EU where relevant).<\/span>

\n\u00b7         Balance : please offer a
\nproposition and give sufficient weight to opposing views and countervailing
\nconsiderations, by: taking problems and turning them to your advantage;
\naddressing implications such as resources and policy matters; acknowledging
\ntradeoffs as necessary.<\/span>

\n\u00b7         Structure: please
\nstructure the parts of your dissertation in a logical order; coherently connect
\nsections and use transitions to effect good flow throughout.<\/span>
