This is for field experience for criminal justice. This involves ride a longs, citizen contacts, going on calls, etc. The population of this villiage is a little over 1200, but they are also contracted out to work for 2 other nearby smaller communities with a population of about 300 each. They work closely with county law enforcement to provide calls for service to these areas. They have their own fire department. They utilize a county dispatcher for communications. The government in the villiage is made up of appointed trustees.
