In The Unapologetic Guide To Black Mental Health.<\/em>, Dr.
\nRheeda Walker argues that “African people do not pay attention there
\nfeelings of anxiety or depression, or the signs of distress, [we] press
\nforward” (Walker, 1). Dr. Walker suggest that African people thrive no
\nmatter the circumstance and “in the midst of a society of racial
\nterrorism, [we] continue on-using [our] ancestral gifts” (Walker 1).
\nconsistent terror contributes to the actions and repeated behavior due
\nto trauma.  Dr. Rheeda Walker writes, \u201cone traumatic experience can
\nresult in distorted attitudes, dysfunctional behaviors, and unwanted
\nconsequences, this pattern is magnified exponentially when a person
\nrepeatedly experiences severe trauma, and it is much worse when the
\ntraumas are caused by human beings\u201d (9).<\/p>\n

Show through quotes, analysis, and the use of other sources how
\nAfrican resourcefulness  has revealed a spirit of survival despite the
\ntrauma. In your essay discuss how psychological crisis and trauma
\ncontributes to the instability of Africans in America. Draw upon
\nhistoric and current evidence to support your claims.  By the same
