Write an essay that is a MINIMUM of 800 words, a MINIMUM of 5 paragraphs in length, each paragraph AT LEAST 5 full-sentences long addressing the prompt below.  <\/span>Students may only use the supplementary reading material for their S.R.E. 2.<\/span><\/strong>  Make sure to use a MINIMUM of 4 supplementary readings.  Students may NOT use lecture material or the textbook on this essay.<\/u><\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/span> Using lecture material or the textbook readings for this assignment will NOT give students a passing grade.<\/u> <\/span> If you quote from the sources, quotes can only be 3 paragraph lines in length.  <\/span>You must state an argument or thesis in your introduction<\/strong>.  Make sure to underline your thesis statement in the introductory paragraph.<\/u> Make sure to provide specific examples from the readings that support your argument or thesis.<\/p>\n

Choose any 4 supplementary readings between Session 10 and Session 15, or from the Great Depression Session to Nixonian America.  Discuss why you personally found them interesting.<\/span>  <\/span><\/span>How did those supplementary readings enhance your understanding of the themes and topics discussed in lecture and why?<\/span>  <\/span><\/span>Think about the major themes and topics covered since the midterm and how the supplementary readings relate to those themes.
