The present thesis is based on two previous studies: the \u201cValentinstudien\u201d (Samuelsson & Way, 2018), conducted by researchers Per Carlbring from Stockholm University and Gerhard Andersson from Link\u00f6ping University, and the \u201cYou and Me and ADHD\u201d study led by Per Carlbring. Both studies utilized the measurement instrument called the Valentinskalan \/Valentinscale (Burman et al., 2018), which is considered to assess relationship satisfaction and is the focus of this thesis. To the author\u2019s knowledge, the psychometric properties of the Valentinskalan\/Valentinscale were examined in a previous thesis (Samuelsson & Way, 2018), but no factor analysis has been performed on the scale. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the psychometric properties of the Valentinscale and compare it to older measurement tools such as the Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS; Spanier, 1976) and the Quality of Dyadic Relationships (QDR36; Ahlborg, Lilleengen et al., 2009), which also aim to measure the same construct. The factor structure of the scale will be explored using an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) in the Valentinstudien, followed by a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) in the \u201cYou and Me and ADHD\u201d study to assess the stability of the factor solution.<\/span><\/p>\n
