theories is that electoral systems affect party systems, explain Duverger\u2019s Law and more recent<\/span>
corrections to it that other authors have made. You must include multiple sources representing<\/span>
each theory, do not rely on a single author for a theory. Only use scholarly sources for the<\/span>
literature review like peer-reviewed journal articles or books.<\/span>
Case Studies:<\/span> <\/span>These case studies are intended to test the theories presented in the literature<\/span>
review. You should tell the relevant history of the cases with special attention to the factors from<\/span>
the literature review. The cases should illustrate how much or little each theory influenced how<\/span>
each case turned out.<\/span>
Your cases should be chosen logically, based on your research question. Your paper should<\/span>
explain what cases you\u2019ve selected and some justification for why you chose these specific<\/span>
cases. This can either be done in the introduction or in a separate section before the case<\/span>
studies themselves<\/span>
